Maya Angelou Passes Away At 86 Years Of Age

So sad to hear of her passing as she was a great influence on us all and a positive example to live by.  Here's one of my favorite quotes of hers that has stuck with me over the years.

“I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” 
That statement is SO very true and seems to become more relevant as I get older.  Treat others with respect and care and you'll always be remembered for it!
She was a pioneer in many areas including being an author, poet, civil rights advocate, lecturer and motivational speaker.  What a wonderful woman and human being we have all lost.  Her words and legacy will carry on through future generations and will continue to uplift and motivate us.
Rest in peace Dr. Angelou!
